Drie hoofdtaken Dagelijks voeren onze militairen de drie hoofdtaken van Defensie uit: • Bescherming van het eigen en het bondgenootschappelijk grondgebied, met inbegrip van het Koninkrijk der Nederlanden in het Caribisch Gebied. • Bevordering van de internationale rechtsorde en stabiliteit. • Ondersteuning van civiele autoriteiten bij rechtshandhaving, rampenbestrijding en humanitaire hulp, zowel nationaal als internationaal.
