Eternal Ganges Press (EG) was established on 19 June 1991, with a vision to make the writings of author Daisaku Ikeda available to readers throughout India. EG publications are based on respect for the dignity of life, peace and happiness—for both self and others—bringing together views of world leaders and luminaries in music, art, literature, politics and more. Aimed at transforming lives, our books and periodicals deal with timeless questions—health, relationships, birth and death, youth and happiness—based on the philosophy of Nichiren Daishonin’s Buddhism. With the belief that an empowered individual will be spurred to action, each writing empowers by creating hope, motivating to action and tapping into one's inherent wisdom, compassion and courage. In the 25 years since its inception, the organisation has steadily grown to into a thriving publishing house with 40 partners across various cities in India. Driven by the desire to make reading of the highest calibre available to as many as possible, Eternal Ganges’ publications combine quality and affordability so that none are excluded from the pleasure of reading. With the endeavor to provide quick responses to its audience as well ensure growing reader interest, the editorial and design teams of Eternal Ganges whole-heartedly strive to give their all to each publication right from the first periodical title, Value Creation Times, till now, with over 300 books on the shelves.
